Being of a certain age and unmarried – is that a taboo? Being divorced, is that a taboo? How does people around her treat her? Does she become any less responsible if she is not married? How is her identity marked by the society in such a scenario? What is her identity according to her?
What is more important to her? How does the contextual setup of Ahmedabad affect them and their decision? Is there a shred of loneliness in her life? How does she perceive relationships? Is she made to feel different by the very society she has been a part of all her life?
Teesra Pahar, sets out on a journey tied together by conversations/ dialogue with three women who made a choice that was unconventional in the eyes of the society.
All the three women have either remained unmarried or were once married before. Marriage did not decide their life course or choices.
It attempts to show the life stories and struggles of these women and how inspiring can they be. Life through their eyes, as they understand it, look at it and perceive it.
